Summer is only a few short weeks away, but it feels like summer already. We’ve been experiencing hot days and warm nights. Everyone has been getting very healthy dosages of Vitamin D, which has been adding an extra bounce into all our steps.
With all that extra Vitamin D comes hot rays of sun that can cause severe sunburns.
Last month we spent two weeks in Florida beach hoping and playing at Disney. Our days of outside activities were extended, and the sunshine was witness to our every move.
Although we lathered up our pale Canadian bodies with sunscreen before every outing, there was one day when we first arrived that a few of us (okay Mommy) burned to a crisp. So much so, the sun’s rays the following day were painful on contact.
We are a good example of how 58% of families misuse sun care practices that help keep you protected. Although I applied us with sunscreen before exposure, I didn’t reapply every 2 hours.
Good news! Banana Boat® has teamed up with Walmart to create an online tool that helps determine how much sunscreen you will require for whatever adventure you have planned this summer.
This easy online tool not only will have you sun ready >> take this sun-ready quiz << it will assist you to take the guesswork out of when and how much sunscreen you need to apply to you and your family.
This summer we plan on spending a lot of time on the beach, so I took the quiz for my children using beach fun as the activity. Our kids are not fair; they have naturally tanned skin people envy. Here are the results I achieved.
I will be taking their advice and reapplying every 2 hours using Banana Boat® SunComfort™ SPF 50+ Sunscreen Spray which I have fully stocked for the whole summer!
By heading to your local Walmart store to stock up on Banana Boat® sunscreen for the summer, and taking the quick online quiz no one will have to miss out on the fun!
