Perhaps when you think of a girlfriend getaway, you may feel like a day spa, night at the bar, or late night giggles at your girlfriends home? Well, guess what? A girlfriend getaway at Mont-Tremblant has all that and more. Keep reading because we had a whirlwind of a ride during Mont-Tremblant 2018/19 season opener and I want to tell you all about it. 

Book a Girlfriend Getaway at Mont-Tremblant – You Deserve It 

I’ve been on many girlfriend getaways throughout the years, most recently was finding balance at Ste. Anne’s Spa with some of my influencer friends and our three generation spa getaway at Elmhirst Resort & Spa.  Tremblant was a different kind of girl’s only trip and one I’ll never forget. Ski or Not, There is Something For You Too At Mont-Tremblant

1. Breathe In The Fresh Air

There is something spectacular about being sandwiched within the Laurentian Mountains.

The air feels fresher at Tremblant.

Each breath is a little easier at Tremblant.

This view alone is a gift. 

Note: If you’re not a skier or boarder, no worries at all you can take the gondola up and back down. The view from the top is well worth bundling up to see. Check with the ticket desk as some fees may apply to ride the gondola.

2. Shopping At Tremblant

No girl’s only trip is complete without shopping. Whether you’re window shopping or looking to treat yourself at Tremblant, the options are endless. The village’s quaint feel and cobblestone paths give you all the European feels.

3. Dining At Tremblant

I cannot say enough about the food at Tremblant. There wasn’t a dish or a meal that didn’t throw my taste buds for a spin.

Dining upstairs at La Forge overlooking the mountain was a treat. White linen tables, rustic wood and the smell of steak grilled over an open fire. I no longer am a Foie Gras virgin since our dinner the night we arrived. We also shared delicious Lobster & Cheese mashed potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, and sink in your seat steak grilled to perfection.

Tip: Ask to dine upstairs. The atmosphere adds to the evening with the open floor plan and open-fire grill among you.

It is true; I am susceptible to cow’s dairy here in Canada. But when I was aboard in Italy a couple of years ago, cow’s dairy didn’t affect me at all. So when I heard that La Savoie imported raw cows cheese from France, I was intrigued to eat as much as I can with the hopes it didn’t affect me. I’m safe to say the evening was delicious and I showed no sensitive side effects. La Savoie is the perfect evening to share with friends or the girls. Pick your type of Fondue or Raclette served in a quaint little eatery.

Tip: Be sure to book as far in advance because this is a trendy restaurant at Tremblant. Plus, come hungry and wear stretchy pants.

Choux Gras is a delicious restaurant located in the Fairmount Hotel. When I walked in, I felt, like I stepped back decades with their silver and royal blue velvet lined booths. I felt like I should have been wearing a floor-length gown smoking slender cigarettes while Jazz music played. I can only imagine that food didn’t taste as heavily back then as it does today at Choux Gras. They served us an amuse bouche which consisted of the most delicious Oster I’ve had topped with lobster; oh so good. The atmosphere, food, the company was spot on.

Tip: If you’re coming for dinner you get free valet parking.

4. Casino de Mont-Tremblant

No adults trip to Tremblant is complete without an evening at the Casino de Mont-Tremblant. I highly suggest you start the evening with dinner at L’Altitude. With Live music and a menu featuring seafood and steak for the foodie in you. Every dish comes served with Attitude and flavors that hit every note of your taste buds. I suggest ordering from the shared experience menu. The price points are entirely affordable for the amount of food you’ll get delivered to your table. If you order the Tomahawk beef platter, your steak will be wheeled out on a cart presented tableside by the chef. And the Plate of the sea is filled with all your favorites ready for you to dig in.

Once your belly is full a Vegas evening awaits for you. From live entertainment on selective nights, you’ll also find the lights, sounds and drinks cap off the perfect evening with the girls. Here we gave Blackjack a go.

Tip: Ask the dealer questions. Contrary to popular belief, they are there to help you get comfortable with the game you choose and willing to answer your questions.

5. Clubbing At Tremblant

Perhaps it’s been a while since you’ve hit the clubs? If a night with the girls dancing sounds like a lot of fun, you’ll find two options in the Village of Tremblant. Bar Café D’Epoque is a lively place they call themselves the best nightlife scene in Mont-Tremblant. Lights, music from all genres and languages, smoke machine, poles to dance on if you choose and if you like dancing close and want to work up a sweat this is the place for you. Although it wasn’t my preferred scene, the club was packed.

6. E-Fat Biking At Tremblant 

Biking in the snow may not be something you would typically plan to do, but trust me this was an experience we all loved. These Fat Bikes have electric motors and give you a turbo boost as you pedal.  D-Tour Tremblant is off-site and a short drive from the village. Surrounded by nature and beauty, you’ll receive a guided tour guaranteed to leave you wanting more.

D-Tour Tremblant is a small independently owned and operated company focusing on getting visitors out on the trails. E-Fat biking was very quick to pick up, once we got comfortable with riding them we were doing top speeds of 15 mph in no time — what a great experience this was and the perfect way to mix up adventure during a girlfriend getaway at Mont-Tremblant.

7. Scandinavian Spa Mont-Tremblant

After all the skiing, biking, eating and drinking, we were very grateful to spend the afternoon and early evening at Scandinavian Spa Mont-Tremblant. Located only a short drive from the village, you’ll find the charming setting situated in the rich forest and on the Diable River. In December 2017, Scandinavian Spa Mont-Tremblant opened the Infinite section, more space to relax, more pools, more to experience. We spent most of our time in the “Infinite” side cleansing our body and mind in a cycle of hot baths, refreshing rinse and rest.  Every moment of stress and pain melts away while breathing in the country air. Scandinavian Spa is a must do on a girlfriend getaway at Mont-Tremblant.

Note: Don’t forget your bathing suit and flip-flops and during the winter a toque.

8. Large Accommodations At Tremblant

Finding a large accommodations for all the girls isn’t a problem at Tremblant. You’re surrounded by options whether you decide to stay in the village or a short drive away there is a condo complex for you. The closest condo complex to Tremblant village is Les Manoirs.

Les Manoirs is nestled in the trees, surrounded by deer and wildlife for your viewing. Overlooking the mountain the views in the morning and evening are soothing to the soul.

We had plenty of room to spread out in our 3-bedroom condo — a fully functional kitchen with all the amenities of home, including a blender. The wood burning fireplace was where we gathered, and girl talked about the day over wine and snacks. You can take a shuttle from Les Manoirs or take the quick drive from your condo. Les Manoirs, is clean, big and the perfect condo space for a girlfriend getaway at Mont-Tremblant.

Note: The only downside to staying at Les Manoirs was the trek up the long winding stairs with luggage and equipment. We had to make numerous trips on the steep stairs. Also, next time I’d be sure to request maintenance keep them salted because the sleek ice was a little risky on the way up and down during our stay.
