Dreaming Disney #DisneySMMC
I titled this post-Dreaming Disney because that is all I have been doing recently. Disney has kept my mind occupied since receiving the #DisneySMMC invite in my inbox back in early March.
I’ve been dreaming of the joy on our kid’s faces when they see their favorite Disney characters.
I’ve been dreaming about Test Track, Splash Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train a few of our favorite Disney World rides.
I’ve been dreaming of Dole Whip.
I’ve been dreaming about seeing Epcot flower and garden festival for the first time.
I’ve been dreaming of the magic my whole family will feel in one week when we arrive at the most magical place on earth!
You see, I learned about #DisneySMMC about four years ago when my Twitter feed lite up with excitement. With joy, I joined in the conversation, congratulating everyone, and following the fun.
Each year, I did the same thing. Virtual high fives went out to all my friends who were off to Disney for Social Media Moms Celebration. I’ve always been that person who is wholeheartedly excited about the success of others.
We don’t know the magic potion that sends pixie dust our way, but I do believe this ->

Your dreams and success will look different than mine, but I know in my heart if you work hard, spread kindness into the world from your heart, be the best you can be, your dreams and your success will follow.

#DisneySMMC is more than a family conference to me. It is a dream come true and a goal that I set personally for myself the first time I laid eyes on the hashtag four years ago.
