Visual Your Memories to Feed Your Soul #12PrintsProject
Over the course of the next 12 months follow hashtag #12PrintsProject for social shares from seven Canadian parenting, design, and lifestyle bloggers – one being moi! During the summer months we like to take time as a family and go camping. A few years back we purchased a tent trailer and it’s been our home away from home when on the road. Having a tent trailer makes travel for our big family much more affordable and having all our belongs with us, makes it easier on my sanity. On a recent trip to Emily Park in Kawartha Lakes, I was playing around with my camera capturing the kids ride their bikes up and down the gravel roads, as I do on most of our camping trips. They spent hours that weekend just riding back and fourth. These pictures spoke to my heart and knew I needed to hold on to their memory for the years to come.

Just the other day one of the kids came upstairs and said “Mommy I was looking at the picture of us in our hockey jerseys on the wall in the playroom and it made me happy.” He had tears welling in his eyes. Those are the reasons that it is important to capture and print these memories out for all to see, because memories are at the heart of the image. If my kids can see that the strength of our love lies in our memories, I am confident that those moments will fill their soul with happiness for the years to come.
Since every Wood Print starts with the finest Canadian birch wood, I know our memories will be up for viewing long after our story is told.
