Getting Goosebumps Over The Best Kids Campfire Stories #StreamTeam
This month I was inspired to share something that may leave you with Goosebumps. Streaming this big kids favorite Canadian-inspired Netflix show will not only get your blood boiling and those tiny hairs on your arms standing but it will leave your children sharing the best ghost stories at the campfire you ever heard.
Streaming A Childhood Favorite
It all started a few weeks ago when my mom was watching the kids for we could enjoy a date night. They were streaming on Netflix and stumbled across a childhood favorite of mine. When I was a little girl I use to read a series of books called Goosebumps. I actually forgot about my Goosebumps desire until we came home from our date and Nana was snuggled up streaming Goosebumps on Netflix that night with the bigger kids.
At first I wasn’t sure how appropriate it was for our bigger kids. I know I watched it as a kid but times have changed a bit, right? Since that night every time we say the kids can pick a show on Netflix to stream I get huge requests to stream Goosebumps time after time.
Camp Fire Stories
It wasn’t till this pass weekend we were camping and decided to take turns telling campfire stories. Typically stories from kids can turn out to be long and duplicated by each, right?
Not this time my jaw was dropping in the details our two bigger kids were including in their ghost stories. From creaks, bugs and sounds they were telling the prefect ghost stories that left me with Goosebumps.
When I asked them where they learned to tell such detailed ghost stories they both said “Goosebumps” the show on Netflix.
When was the last time you hear a ghost story at a campfire that left you with Goosebumps?
Thank you for reading In R Dream!
I am part of the Netflix Stream Team and receive special perks. Although I am never influenced to tell more than my own opinion.
I think the last time would be when I was in elementary school years ago!
My husband is so good at ghost stories. He scares our kids and their friends regularly at sleepovers!
Its been years since I’ve even been near a camp fire and unfortunately here in BC they are usually banned as you get into the summer!
My daughters LOVED Goosebumps! I’m going to let them know that its on netflix.
i loved reading the books and watching the shows growing up. I can’t remember the last time I got spooked at a campfire. My kids love the books and show too.
I loved reading these books when I was younger and now my son does too! He is getting into loving reading us ghost stories too when camping!
camp fires are the best for telling tall tales and spooky yarns
