On-line Consignment with Boomerang Kids in Canada = Impressive!

Mama juggles in PJ’s.

With four growing kids, sometimes it can be a challenge to buy new all the time. But what I find more of a challenge is finding the time to shop in store. Whether it be retail or consignment meeting the needs of four different sizes, styles and needs all under one roof within the minimal chance I get to go out and shop is next to impossible. So over the year instead of juggle timetables and kids I shop from home in my PJ’s. This is where shopping consignment has always been a challenge for me. If it’s not on-line and cannot be delivered to my door, it’s not happening.

Until my latest introduction, I never thought of consignment on-line. It is finally here for us Canadian’s and shopping Boomerang Kids should be on every busy moms to do list.

Boomerang Kids Review on-line Consignment shopping Canada

I will be honest, I was very hesitant and excited when I heard of consignment shopping on-line. I am picky, if I am spending hard-earned money on consignment I expect quality and the pieces to be in excellent shape. I expect my second-hand clothing to look like new. Is that too much to ask?

Drum roll please… Boomerang Kids is on-line.

Boomerang Kids is North America’s first and only resale chain of stores carrying new and nearly new children’s merchandise that’s available in-store and online. Boomerang Kids not only sells clothing they sell strollers, exersaucers and toys. Plus only brand name clothes and shoes that stand up to the little ones wearing them.

Carrying brands like Gap, Old Navy, Osh Kosh, Mexx and H&M, plus Boomerang Kids also carry kids’ designer brands. Jacadi, Prada, Hugo Boss, Burberry and Petit Bateau. The best part is this clothing is in excellent condition.

Boomerang Kids

On-line experience.

Boomerang Kids lets customers shop for a variety of children’s items the way you want. You can narrow down the search by gender, category, size, colour, condition, price, the options are there for the way you think. The experience you want is your choice.

I didn’t find any glitches between the five on-line stores. Yes I said five. Boomerang Kids has five different on-line  stores for each store location. I thought I would get the most out of Boomerang Kids and order from all five locations. To really see if the quality between the stores is in pare.

I was extremely impressed when Boomerang Kids – Orleans Store had my order to my front door in less than 24 hrs. Next day delivery was something I never expected. I received the following four orders the following business day and that was also impressed.

The quality between the items I ordered was excellent, just as the ads said. I didn’t find any stains, tears or flaws. These quality pieces I would have hand-picked if I was in the store. Plus Boomerang Kids carries new items like winter gloves and the Vanghan location was selling them at 50% off. You cannot find quality winter gloves in-store at this time of year, so that was a score for this happy mama.

Your probably asking shopping on-line is convenient Tammy but what are the shipping prices?

Get this, a flat rate of $10 on all clothing. But for the bigger items check out Boomerang Kids shipping policy for more details.

I purchased a great mix of items between the four kids and different seasons. Now if the warmer days of Summer would arrive Miss C would love to wear her new Summer dresses.

Be sure to swing by Boomerang Kids on Facebook and say hi!

Do you shop in your PJ’s?

Will you give Boomerang Kids a try?

  • Hi!
Learning about blogs this morning and checked out yours! Love this post! I just looked at sportchek online, sportinglife online, jupa online, northface, and a few others looking for mitts for Evie as hers have worn out mid-winter. No luck, just like you said. I wish I had read your post 1 week ago! I ended up buying her a pair of gloves (not as good as mitts) at Devil’s Elbow ski shop. And they were black (not as good as purple). I’m sure they were more costly than your mitts! I love shopping online. Thanks for the heads up about Boomerang!

  • I’m all about second hand!! We have had SO many clothes that we or the kids outgrow, that are in amazing condition. Why just throw them away? So I love that other people feel the same way, and that means I can score rockin’ consignment deals 🙂
