Simple Vs. Rocker
I have always been a natural girl, a little mascara and off I go. But when I am going out for a night on the town I like to add a little more sparkle to my look. Like earlier this month meeting P!NK a real “COVERGIRL” called for a little extra time in front of the mirror, as I was going for the rocker girl look. In my opinion even a busy mom of four like myself deserves to let her inner rocker out once in a while, right?
Ink It!
Timing was prefect. COVERGIRL sent me over some makeup just in time to throw together my rocker look. By the title of COVERGIRL’s Ink It I quickly judged to soon that it would be to harsh on my light complexion. This Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner gives expert precision with its fine point that glades on super smooth, but not as harsh as I assumed. I am calling it my new favorite pencil. Great lesson learned here, “never judge a book by its title”.
Smoochies
My natural look usually means my lips are ah’natural too. But lately I have been feeling the need to freak my hubby out with glossy puckered up lips. I am really enjoying the sensual look of the new COVERGIRL Smoochies which gives me the little added on colour I have been craving. At the same time it takes a second to apply and makes me feel put together. For a busy mom of four, that feeling can go along way.

My makeup routine is pretty easy and quick…I use powedered foundation and concealer, then put on eyeliner and blush. that’s it! done in 5 minutes!
If I know I am not going anywhere of anywhere exciting for the day – I do nothing. If I am going shopping or whatever, yes I wear day time type make up. But when I go out at night, I tend to add more. Bring out the eyes and lips. My nails are done. I do my best to make it look like I made an effort and it makes me feel great.
I don’t usually do makeup but when I go out I like to put on some foundation/concealer, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, a touch of blush and some lip stick *nothing too bright* I sparkle it up a little more depending on where I am going.
I try to add a little sparkle to my look when I go out on a date night.
Usually just a bare face for me on a daily basis. If I’m feeling fancy I go for some mascara and lip gloss 🙂
I like to add glitter and glitz to my nails – other than that, I’m pretty plain. But my kids think it’s fun when they see different colours and sparkle.
I keep it simple.. but with a big B-day coming up, I think a little sparkle will be needed to keep me looking young.
Everyday routine means lots of moisture a BB cream and plenty of lip gloss and a creamy blush. I am naked without mascara of course!

Don’t have .much of a makeup routine. Have 2 small boys, so I don’t get to look nice often lol this would be great!
My wife’s routine is usually just shower and dress and out the door. She is not a makeup person until it is a office party/formal dinner out, etc. Then it is mascara, blush, lipstick.
To add some sparkle I try to play up my eyes with shimmery eye shadow, mascara, and eye shadow.

I like to add gold eyeshadow at the inner corners of my eyes. I have red hair and this really brightens my eyes!
