Footprints Poem For Dad

When you’re looking for a sentimental gift for the man who has everything, this poem will be one that will grab the heart of any Daddy!

“Walk a little slower daddy,”
said a child so small.
“I’m following in your footsteps
and I don’t want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they’re hard to see;

When our children were tiny, I printed this footprints poem on cardstock paper. With ink, I painted our four children’s little feet and added footprints to the print. Framed it and now Daddy has it hanging in his office as a reminder of how critical a father’s job is.
