Why We Love TELUS: Five Reasons Beyond Coverage and Affordability

TELUS has been a brand we’ve been very loyal to for so many years, far beyond the blog we’re brand loyal to TELUS, and I don’t plan on that changing. Keep reading for our five reasons beyond coverage and affordability and why we love TELUS.

Disclosure: I received one or more items mentioned. As always, the opinions on this blog are my own.

Why We Love TELUS: TELUS Gives Back

With the worldly issues arising on every corner, when I’m spending money, I like to find brands that give back and are trying their best to leave a positive imprint on society. TELUS does that.

TELUS works hard locally to make a change. Their motto is We Give Where We Live; says it all. Learn more about how TELUS acts of giving, big and small are driving positive social outcomes throughout Canada. Learn more about TELUS Community here.

Why We Love TELUS: TELUS is Postive

Scrolling through the TELUS feed on Twitter makes me smile. They’re always positive, always pushing up their community. We all know that spreading Kindness is the best thing to cover. And as someone who feels genuinely and tries my best to do the same thing, TELUS makes me smile with their sweet marketing images like this one.

Why We Love TELUS: TELUS Wise

Today’s children are faced with so many extra stresses these days, so are we as their parents. Social media and technology is something that has my anxiety in full-blown overload. I want to protect my children as much as I can, all parents do. This fall, I took it upon myself to organize a TELUS Wise workshops for our school which is hosted by TELUS Wise Ambassador. Our Community officer was our TELUS Wise Ambassador, she came into our school with handouts and spoke to the children on critical topics. I did try to organize a parent night it didn’t work out on the school’s behalf. I do wish more parent council communities would see the importance of teaching children Technology Etiquette at an earlier age. Thank you, TELUS Wise for recognizing the need. Learn more about TELUS WISE here.

Why We Love TELUS: TELUS Health

Technology is moving along quickly, almost as quickly as our children are growing. Which is why when I heard about the New TELUS Baby Health mobile app I was intrigued to hear more. It’s a free digital tool to create a health record for infants and an educational resource for new and expecting parents. Where was this app when my first was born? I remember how unorganized I felt with all the paperwork, doctors appointment; it was all overwhelming. Okay, let’s be honest I still don’t have it all together.

TELUS Call To Action

TELUS’ big heart is at it again, for every account registered on the TELUS Baby Health app, TELUS will give $5 to Make-A-Wish® Canada until November 2018, up to a maximum of $10,000, to help fulfill the hopes and dreams of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
