These Five Things I Know For Sure Will Help You Get Through Today + Giveaway
I’ll be the first one to admit I don’t handle “busy” well. Today, everyone I talk too is busy. Busy with work, life, extra curricular activities, the busyness never seems to stop. So how do we get through today?
I’m not an expert and I don’t claim to have it altogether. Although I get asked all the time, how do you do it? Four active children, businesses, home, school, life. Well the truth is I don’t wake up every single morning with a bounce in my step. Some mornings my hormones take me for a spin. Just this year I’ve been dealing with my own health issues. I’ve gain at least 20 lbs, my hormones are a loose cannon and I’m craving all the bad foods. My skin isn’t glowing like it once did and this pimple on my chin has officially moved in.
Getting Through Today With These Five Things I Know For Sure
Feeling Grateful
Practising gratitude daily will help you look at life in a positive way. I try my best every day before I get out of bed and before I fall asleep I thank God for my family, our health, and where He has guided me today. If you’re not religious just putting your gratitude into the universe will help you start and end your day on a positive note.
Positive thinking and practising gratitude will help you beat stress and feel grateful in the moment.
Drinking Water
Water is our lifeline. Yet, I struggle every single day with getting enough; I know I’m not alone. Thank goodness there is an app for that. Did you know? Drinking water can actually help the body burn fats. Do you ever get a headache at the end of the day? That is a sign that you didn’t drink enough water. And if your stool isn’t easy to pass that is another sign you’re not getting enough water.
Drink up! It’s the simplest of ways to give your body what it craves when the hustle and bustle is on.
Eating Clean
You know the old saying “You are what you eat.” Well, I’ve been indulging on all the wrong things and now kicking these cravings seems to be impossible. But I know they are possible because I’ve done this before; I dropped 40 lbs a couple of years ago by clean eating. I try my best to feed my family fresh homemade meals, but where I fall off the tracks is with French Fries and those sweet treats. My advice is to add a new clean meal to your week and notice how well your body responses to it.
Trust me, your body will show you all kinds of happy when you give it what it needs.
Taking Supplements and Tinctures
I fell off the supplement wagon last fall, I ran into a bout of depression, gained weight and now I’m struggling with a a hormone mess. Coincidence?
Since I’ve been taking all the right supplements I’ve noticed my body has been gaining all kinds of happy and energy. Each person’s body is different but if you’re not eating 100% clean, or even if you are, I doubt you are getting the right minerals and vitamins your body needs.
Here are a few Orange Natural supplements and Orange Naturals tinctures I take daily: B-Complex, D3 Drops, Magnesium, Omega-3 Fish Oil , Probiotics, Thyroid Health, ND Shake for Women, Immune Health, Rhodiola. Orange Naturals can be easily used in day-to-day recipes to help boost your health! You may like to check out their new product: http://orangenaturals.com/essential/sleep-magnesium/
Don’t let deficiencies hold you back.
Exercise
We’re a very active family. You’ll often find us hiking, playing a spontaneous game of baseball before our daughter’s hockey game. But I find these spontaneous bouts of fun are not giving my aging body the workout it’s craving. When I actually get up early before my kids and put my sweat on, I feel my best. Whether that be a stretch, yoga, run or weight lifting, find your groove and work out those muscles.
“Work them or lose them.”
The hustle and bustle are here to stay, so why not treat your body right, so it can help you get through today?
