Happy 150 Canada!
It feels just like yesterday when I was a little girl, and Canada turned 100. I remember all the festivities that took place at school and around town. It was a big deal! July 1st is another big deal for us Canadians our beloved home, and native land turns 150.
We’re planning on taking a road trip on Canada Day to celebrate. We don’t have a route in mind we’re going to be spontaneous and see where our wheels take us. Most small towns have a festival taking part, and most small towns have a McDonalds waiting to hydrate us along the way. Cheers to Summer Drink Days this season.
Moments Like This
When I think of Summer in Canada, I think of those long days kicking back in the sunshine watching my children use their imagination and make memories together. Those moments where all four of our children gather together to laugh at each other’s little whisper. The secrets only they know, the memories their minds will carry through into adulthood with them. That’s what summer is all about. Moments like this.
Summer Drink Days
Whether those days are spent at home, the cottage, camping, at the beach or pool with friends no matter where we are; keeping hydrated is the key to long-lasting fun.
Water is a necessity but some days call for a little more fun in your cup. When we’re driving from one adventure to the next, we can always count on Summer Drink Days with a McCafé drink in hand.
Summer Drink Days runs until September 4th, and I’m celebrating every week this summer with a high-quality beverage at an unbeatable price point. Known as Canada’s favorite summer beverage destination, McCafé offers Canadians icy cold options to for everyone’s taste buds.
Our family enjoys McCafé Frozen Real Lemonade; a refreshing blended ice drink made with the sweet and tart taste of lemon. It’s blended with ice for ultimate hydration during the high sun on a hot sunny day and it’s dairy-free. Where else can I treat my family of 6 for under $10?
If you’re looking for a caffeine kick, McDonald’s has you covered with the new McCafé Coffee Iced Frappé. Now made with the great taste of 100% arabica beans and creamy dairy base, freshly blended with ice. You can experience this smooth, refreshing caffeine kick in a small for $2.
We’re tossing routine aside, welcoming mindful moments, we plan on indulging in icy cold drinks and cheering on summer as the sun goes down.
How will you be celebrating the official start of summer on this Canada Day?
