Having been to a Toronto Leaf Game myself, I had something to compare this experience too. Besides for the jersey and open seats, there was nothing else different between attending a Toronto Leaf Game vs. Toronto Marlies Game. The game was fast; they played hard. They hustled, they played the game they love and it showed. 

There was a lot of testosterone on the ice and the kids loved it – yes, I mean fights.

Now let’s be honest besides the game, the next best thing when attending a hockey game is the music, am I right?

I need to relate to the tunes, feel them in my soul and my feet should automatically shuffle. The DJ did just that he had our whole family (not hubby he doesn’t dance) dancing, wiggling and feeling good. The atmosphere was pumping, giving all your senses something to love.

Much like a typical NHL game, the audience did the wave; we cheered, sang, danced, laughed, and made memories as a family. The Marlies games do have very interactive intermission games, and they work hard on putting the focus on family fun. Kids pretty much run the show, well kind of. 

Our family would love to attend another Marlies game at the ACC in Toronto it just was that much fun. It would be the perfect get together with other families and friends on this upcoming Family Day in February.
