Dairy-Free Frappé Coffee Recipe + 27g of Vegan Protein
Summertime can be a struggle when it comes to what’s going in your mouth. The cool refreshing signs of iced coffees, ice cream cones, and good old fashion slushies can be tempting.
Staying on track is important.
“You can never make the same mistake twice because the second time you make it, it’s not a mistake it is a choice!”
I thought that quote was fitting because I’ve been there when September rolled along after a summer of not paying attention to what I indulged on and the scale and my love handles never lied. My pants were too tight; my energy was low, and I craved more. When you eat ice cream and iced coffees from the drive thru all summer, warning they will catch up with you when you least expect it.
Today I am excited to share with you a recipe that allows you to treat yourself daily because everything inside this icy cold treat is oh so right for you.
Dairy-Free Frappé Coffee Recipe + 27g of Vegan Protein
- Cold brewed coffee ( I used Caramelizio from Nespresso VertuoLine)
- 1/4 cup of Dairy-free milk of choice (I used Soy this time around but I switch it up depending on what’s in my fridge)
- 3 rounded scoops of Orange Naturals ND Shake Vegan Protein Powder ( I used Vanilla you can use Chocolate if you prefer)
- 1/2 cup of Ice
Throw the ingredients above in your blender and blend.
Add more ice, or dairy-free milk depending on the texture you are craving.
