Pandora Bracelet with #Disney Charm & Fossil Wallet
Valentines is right around the corner and the stores are starting to fill with hearts, chocolates and everything for your Valentine! I am always shocked when I walk into a store right after we have a holiday and the magic of retail has already been working hard around the clock to have the aisles fully stocked for the next holiday.
Didn’t we just have New Year’s?
I am not fully adjusted to writing 2016 yet when filling out the date, but I better get into routine because retail is telling me I best start thinking about Valentine’s Day. What will we do? Where will we dine? Those are a few questions I have to start asking myself.

My husband and I always try out a new restaurant for Valentine’s Day
Now that the kids are older and don’t go to bed quite so early, our Valentine’s celebrations aren’t as romantic and definitely include them. I’ll usually do a slightly more gourmet dinner than usual and the boys enjoy a small valentine’s basket or gift. Hubby & I will sometimes exchange cards, but hugs and cuddles are part of the evening and flowers are an unexpected bonus. Funny how certain things can change!
We celebrate as a family with chocolate of coarse.
My single girlfriends and I go out usually get dinner and a few drinks —

With three young kids, Valentine’s Day isn’t as romantic as it used to be- but we try to get a sitter and have a nice dinner out sometime around the big day. And I make cupcakes with the kids. 🙂
we stay home and go out for dinner a different night – and we give each other chocolates!
