Start Today, For Tomorrow!
They say a New Year calls for a fresh new start. Last week, I updated my look and went completely out of my ordinary. I was born with blond locks maybe once I went brunette. I wanted a fresh new look, not because it was a New Year. Because I felt it was time. I was feeling sluggish with my long blond locks and change was long overdue.
I don’t typically make New Year’s resolutions, although I had much success with them 12 years ago. When I look at life and starting a change I feel that there is no time better time than today. Whether it is March, June or October, today is the day you can give yourself a fresh start.
The best preparation for tomorrow, is doing your best today. – H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
It’s The Little Things
This Christmas, my daughter asked me what I’d like for Christmas. I had just watched Super Soul Sunday (my favourite show) interview between Oprah and Gretchen Rubin, the author of The Happiness Project.
Throughout the whole interview I was shaking my head. I related, I seen myself through Gretchen in so many ways.
Santa brought me The Happiness Project and right away I broke into it and marked it up, highlighting important key parts to come back to.
This rule of happiness I actually incorporated right away.
It was December 26th and there was no way I needed to wait till New Years Day. Today was my day to bring happiness into my life. Since incorporating the “one-minute rule” I have been much happier.
Examples of one – five-minute chores I would put off:
- Stuff like walking laundry to the laundry basket instead of leaving them on the bathroom floor. Instantly, I don’t have to worry about it again.
- Loading the dishwasher now, instead of later means, I can walk into my kitchen and breath because my sink is empty.
- Taking my makeup off before bed means, I can walk up fresh and ready to take on the world in the morning.
- Putting my laundry away after it is folded, allows me to keep my bedroom floor tidy and baskets ready for a new load of laundy.
Those are the small things I am adding into my day, everyday, to bring happiness front and center in my life.
Orange Naturals brings happiness into my life.
Each morning, after I wake up I drink a cold glass of fresh water, and take my Orange Naturals supplements with my morning smoothie. Giving me the energy and balance my day needs.
Each afternoon, I enjoy Orange Naturals MagPop around 2-3pm when coffee drinkers turn for their next cup. MagPop has kicked my butt to keep going, when my day is dragging.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
i’m going to be more active and hope that I stick with going to the gym
My goals are more attitude-based… enjoy the simple things, smile more, look for opportunities to be kind, I think attitude and self-awareness (in a good way!) are so important and it’s so easy to become negative and stressed out. Life is so much more enjoyable when you make a conscious decision to enjoy it!
My goals are to eat a clean diet (nothing processed or bad for me) and to get more exercise. I find it helps to let myself have some days where I’m not the best at sticking to my goals. Then the next day I start again.
i had a few of them, to be more active, organized and to purge. January has been not a good month personally with family and health issues. but February is a new month and a new start.
To be patient!
mine is to practice yoga reguarly
To get and stay fit.
This year I am going to eat healthy.
TO KEEP MYSELF FIT
My goal is to drink more water and i’m going to carry my own water bottle to refill everywhere I go.
I’m planning to get more organized and efficient. That involves having a list to do and a daily plan.
Paying off my vehicle by the end of 2016!

My 2016 goal is to get back in shape. I’ve committed to going to the gym three times per week minimum.
i don’t real have any — just to take one day at a time, and to take a moment to reflect each night on good things that have happened during the day.
My resolution is to not be so lazy this year, which means taking the stairs instead of an escalator and just getting out to do more. I stick post it notes up to remind me to do things.
I am going to try and eat healthier and in order to do so I am going to meal plan and make good choices at the grocery store.
One of my goals this year is too be more positive in my thinking & overall attitude. Affirmations is how I will continue this goal throughout the year. 🙂
This year I am going healthy. Eating discustingly healthy and exercising. Last year was a bad one due to breast cancer and I don`t want it back.
I’m having a shake every morning and reducing dairy, gluten and a corn out of my diet permanently! Now I need to add the vitamins needed!
I’m trying to drink more water and eat less carbs
My goals for 2016 includes drinking fewer sugary drinks. I managed to keep it by keeping a water bottle close by and constantly filled with water so I can drink it.
My goal for 2016 is to get outside and walk more in the beautiful area I live in! One tip I have is to make small goals which are easier to accomplish rather than one big one 😉
