Beating Indoor Air Pollution with Febreze Air Purifier Review

This season our Canadian winter has been very up and down, the beginning of November we got a huge snow fall which left over 2 feet of snow on the ground in less than 24 hours. We thought winter was coming in like a Lion, except it melted and since we have had up and down temperatures since. We are spending more time indoors because the ground is wet rather than white and this means we need to take all precautions to keep our families safe from indoor pollution’s.

When I was asked to review the Febreze Air Purifier I thought this would be a great addition to the hub of our house. I placed it in the Kitchen and turned it on, for days, weeks I ran it. However I wasn’t noticing a difference in the air quality. The main floor of our house was far too big for the FHT170W Tabletop Febreze Air Purifier. Since the kids all have VICKS Starry Night Cool Mist Humidifier I figured placing it in our master bedroom would be the next room to benefit from an air purifier.

The results I noticed were quickly achieved; the air difference in our master bedroom was noticeably different and smelt fresh. I didn’t notice a difference in the air quality when the Febreze Air Purifier was placed in the hub of our home but I sure did now.

Do you have a room in your home where the smell of cooking lingers too?

We do and it happens to be my master bedroom :S. Typically, I crack the window a few hours before bed to freshen the air but of course during our cold Canadian winters at the same time I freeze our room out. Which can be good for late night snuggles but also just makes an uncomfortable sleep, especially when the temperature dips below 0.
