Laughter Is The Best Medicine: Entertainment That Makes You Giggle #StreamTeam
I don’t tend to think of myself or husband as funny people. We are very serious and it takes a whole lot of funny to make us chuckle. Not saying we are dull by all means we are far from dull. I will be honest here; we are thinkers and turning off our brains and settling into something funny doesn’t happen often. There are times I crave watching something that requires no thinking, something that will not teach me but will take me away to pure laughter. They do say laughter is the best medicine and that is just how I use it at times.
Have you seen Mr.Popper’s Penguins?
Jim Carrey takes on the role of Mr. Popper, a businessman who inherits a flock of penguins and must transform his apartment into an arctic habitat. Just saying the name Jim Carrey you know it will be hilarious. Mr. Popper’s Penguins is great for children of all ages, even our three year old can snuggle up to it with the family. It is a movie that will even get us thinkers laughing non-stop from beginning to end. These laughs are the deep down genuine belly laughs. I recommend the next time you plan on settling down as a family to give Mr. Popper’s Penguins a try. I am confident the giggles will take away the dulls of your day.

When I think of comedy I cannot help but think of my favorite stand up comedian – Russell Peters. We have seen each of his specials. Although this is old news I couldn’t share a post on laughter without sharing my favorite comedian – Russell Peters.
He is hilarious and will leave you wanting to more. His out take on culture is unique and will leave you chuckling. I was thrilled when I seen Russell Peters NOTORIOUS was the first Netflix original stand-up comedy special. Another favorite is Russell Peters Vs The World which is a four part behind-the-scenes documentary exclusively on Netflix.

Heads up to you. Russell Peters plays Santa Claus in “Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever” the lifetime movie. It was filmed in Vancouver in Aug-Sept. The mall that they used is about 5 mins away from my home.

My daughter and I love Russell Peters! We laugh so much that are eyes are watering! I love British Television and one of my favourites is the Vicar of Dibley. The very first time that I watched it, I rolled off of the sofa, onto the floor just laughing so hard!
