Adrenaline-fueled fun: BOOMco Blasters in Review

Have you ever been paint balling? It leaves you with this adrenaline that over takes you body. It is a good feeling somewhere in-between scared and brave, I cannot explain it. The fun dies quickly if you bruise like me and get hit. The first and only time I paint balled I was left looking like a cheetah.

Where can you get the same adrenaline but walk away without a bruise? 

Family Fun

This past Thanksgiving weekend was beautiful, the sun was shining it was perfect sweater weather. We ate dinner at my in-laws house and all the grandchildren were there. It was the prefect opportunity to bring along the BOOMco kit I had to review. I knew the whole family would get in on the fun.

What is BOOMco?

BOOMco will give you the adrenaline I mentioned and the bullets are so soft no bruises were left behind. BOOMco blaster come with smart stick bullets that stick to the BOOMco targets. They are also interchangeable between BOOMco blasters, which means if you get hit you can catch and re-use the bullet on your opponent.

BOOMco Family War

Instead of dozing off after our turkey dinner we got over an hour of family fun and exercise playing BOOMco outside. The kids and daddy really got into it, the giggles, smiles and serious looks will tell the story.

BOOMco was fun for all ages. Little O (3) had just as much fun as his 13 year old cousins. Plus Scar (18months) loved playing with rubber feeling granades.

Laying The Rules Out

I personally believe it is your role as a parent to lay out all the do’s and don’ts of playing with BOOMco blasters before the kids start to play. Here are some rules we used:

1. Parent always be present.
2. Never shoot anyone above the waist. Be sure to show the children where everyone’s waist is.
3. Always have eye wear on when on the battle field.
4. Lay out the boundaries. Show them where the battle field is.
5. Have teams, never leave a child solo.
6. Be sure to have a consequence in place if they disobey any of the rules.
7. If there is one BOOMco blaster that everyone wants, be sure to set up a rotation so everyone gets a turn.
8. Make sure you have enough room. I would suggest using your BOOMco Blasters outside they have a very far range on them.
9. Most importantly have fun and make memories with your children!

BOOMco in Review

As the photographer behind the lens during our BOOMco blaster war I have to say I got over 50 pictures of our family having a blast. BOOMco brought out the competitive side in everyone but their team work also shined through. The giggles the smiles and serious faces all built memories that the children will hold close in the years to come. 

The smart stick bullets are so soft that they don’t hurt at all. My behind had 20 smart stick bullets unloaded on by the BOOMco Rapid Madness Blaster and I didn’t feel much. The BOOMco Rapid Madness Blaster can unload those 20 smart stick bullets in seconds! As long as you can find the smart stick bullets, they don’t take long to re-load. This was the BOOMco Blaster everyone wanted a turn to try. The sound of it unloading alone can get your adrenaline charging! 

The other BOOMco Blaster we received was the BOOMco Clipfire which was the perfect size for tiny hands. Plus it also clips to your pants and has a collapsible handle. It is hard to believe the power behind the BOOMco Clipfire, because it can shoot a smart stick bullet up to 60 feet away. 

I give BOOMco two thumbs up. I cannot wait to bring it out when the boys have their friends over. I think a BOOMco themed birthday party would be a great way to make memories with their friends. Plus it is a safe and gentle way for boys to be boys. Or for the girls to let our their inner Charlies Angels.
