A lot of thought goes into the toys and baby gear we buy, we look for long-term investment and return investment when we are done. I remembering before babies making out our registry and putting an extreme amount of thought into each item, the quality, long-term use, we tried to cover each angle we could and we always came back to a few top brands we knew held their value and met all our expectations, Fisher Price was at the top of our list.

A brand that started in 1930, the first Fisher-Price toy ever sold was Dr. Doodle. In 1931, parents could buy this little pull toy for under $3.00. Fisher-Price has been in every house hold since, a name that speaks to your childhood. I remember pulling around my Fisher-Price Chatter Telephone which is still one of the only “telephones” on the market that still has a rotary dial!

Can you remember the Fisher-Price toy you enjoy as a child?

Here are some Fisher-Price favourites that families are filling their toy boxes and homes with. We have enjoyed almost all of them a time or two with our four kids. I shared my first thought below on each item, that we got a chance to love over the years.

Fisher-Price Favourite Today In Our Home

With 3 busy boys in our house all 21 months apart a dinky car and playtime go hand in hand, so to answer my question above I would have to say the most used and loved Fisher-Price toy in our house today is…

Little People Wheelies Stand ‘ n Play Rampway

Little People Wheelies Stand ‘ n Play Rampway

Cars and superheroes jump from the ramp, imaginations run wild as they zoom and fly up and down. Why I love Little People Wheelies Stand ‘ n Play Rampway is because no matter the age this Fisher-Price toy groups children together to play. It is inviting for girls and boys of all ages. With a 360 degree design it can fit one, two, three or four kids for argue free playing, for a house as busy as ours that is a huge plus. Another plus is if a dinky car is not close, even a rolling ball can be used to roll down the ramp and will bring on giggles and giggles of fun. I also love this piece because like most Fisher-Price toys when it is time to part and say good-bye to this toy and stage, it will hold it’s value because of it’s quality made durable plastic. Which means we can invest in a new Fisher-Price toy for the children’s next chapter of play.
