Snow Day Snow Flakes { Craft }

Snow Day Snowflakes It’s a snow day for most of Ontario today and keeping the kids busy can make a really long day. Well I was looking for a craft to share with the kids I found this on Spoonfuls.com. What I love about this craft is, it’s perfect for preschoolers because they don’t need scissors to make the snow flake.

What you’ll need

  • 8 1/2 by 11-inch sheet of paper
  • Stapler
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Clear tape

How to make it

  1. Fold the paper lengthwise and cut it in half.
  2. Starting at one short end, fan fold the paper in 1/2-inch folds. Staple the fan in the middle.
  3. Use scissors to trim both ends, then hole-punch a design into the fan?s folds. When you are finished, unfold the fan to create a circle and tape the edges together to secure it.

How do you keep the kids busy on a snow day?
