More Than Snow Today Is A Gift
This morning mother nature painted us a beautiful picture. I was smiling as I climbed out of bed and seen how beautiful the white blanket was. Miss C (6) ran to me this morning with the expression that Santa was here as she pulled me towards the window to share.
The kids got all bundled up extra early and started to roll a snow family, well they giggled and played before school, as hubby plowed the drive way before we all parted ways.
My drive to preschool this morning I was smiling as I watched neighbors and people interacting more than usual They were shoving each-others paths and talking from the snow bank’s, everyone was smiling and cheerful.
When I dropped King (3) off at preschool he said with a big smile “It’s packing snow today!”
Than I spent a bit of time with Mr O (1) as he touched the cold wet snow with excitement.
What an amazing gift mother nature left everyone today. It’s going to be a great day I can feel it in the air.
Did you get a blanket of snow where you live?
Thanks for reading In R Dream!
Great pictures! I don’t really care for snow but I do love how pretty freshly fallen snow looks.
My wife is a big snow lover but probably because we live on the west coast and snow days are rare unless you’re up in the mountain. I have never been a snow guy, but just being with her and seeing her giddy with happiness when she sees snows has rubbed off on me now.
Wow! Love the first photo! Stunning! We love snow and Winter. We live in the countryside and our farm looks picturesque. Not the same as when I lived in the city and had to trudge through dirty, black, slushy snow from the exhaust from all the vehicles. LOL!
Love being able to snuggle with Little One on snow days!
We did and it was heavy and very wet. Can’t say hubby was pleased about that but the view from my home office was wonderful!
I love snow but not driving when it is snowing!! This year we had lots of snow and it was good for skiing and other outdoor activities
What a cute picture!!
Tammy, it was absolutely beautiful this morning and I love your photos that capture that! My street looked like Christmas and it was all covered in white. Today was the first time in a decade that I had to shovel off my car!
Jenna
I love the snow! We’re in the city so it wasn’t as tranquil looking as it in the ‘burbs. It was super slushy and scary to walk on, being pregnant and all but I welcome snow storms with open arms.
Love it!
