Baby Shower Themed Gift Basket Idea’s #MunchkinCanada
As a mom of 4 in the last 6 years I have been given and purchased tons and tons of baby and toddler gear. With my first I was blessed with four baby showers, I remember after each shower laying out all beautiful gifts from friends and family. It was very over whelming and at the same time I felt so loved.
Some of the items that stood out for me today apart from bulky essentials, I loved receiving gift baskets with a theme. The whole world of baby and baby gear is so new to a first time mother she might not realize just what she needs when that registry gun is in her hands. Here are some tips and themes that I thought would give you a hand the next time you’re shopping for that perfect baby gift item or scanning for your baby registry.
- munchkin Grippy Dots 6pk ~ we love these because baby’s slip and slide in a bath tub. These work great for giving your baby’s bottom a bit of traction in the tub. Plus they read HOT when the water is un safe for baby. A must have for any family, plus they grow with your baby into the toddler years.
- munchkin Bath Fun Bubble Blower ~ we love the giggles and excitement this items brings to bath time. There is no age limit everyone loves watching bubbles.
- munchkin Bath Letters & Numbers ~ never too early to start to introduce A, B, C’s great way to interact with your baby & toddler, one day they will surprise you and start to sign along!
- munchkin White Hot Safety Bath Ducky ~ “Rubber Ducky you’re the one, that makes bath-time lots of FUN!” My favorite song to sing to the kids in the bath, with munchkin White Hot Safety Bath Ducky as our mascot we make a perfect team. Plus he also warns mama if the water is too hot!
- munchkin Bath Crayons ~ just last week I gave 15 month old Little O these, he had so much fun scribbling away. A mess free way to introduce coloring to your toddler.
- Also include: Baby Shampoo’s/ Lotions/ Soaps to your bath time themed baby gift basket.
Feeding Time one
It’s never too early to start collecting items that will grow with baby to toddler years. Many of these items can be put away for down the road, but mama will never have enough baby spoons, cups & plates.
- munchkin Silly Sandwich Cutters ~ these add excitement to any wee ones lunch time meal. Great for cutting toast for baby’s first finger foods.
- munchkin Snack Catcher ~ baby’s and toddler’s can get messy, once you start to introduce finger snacks such as the round cereal, using the munchkin Snack Catcher keeps them off the floor, also slowing down your baby from hand full’s at one time.
- munchkin Fresh Food Feeder ~ baby’s start to teeth anywhere from 3 months & up. I like that I can throw a banana or frozen piece of fruit in here and take away the tears of teething.
- munchkin Stack a Bowls 4 pk
- munchkin Click Lock Trainer Cup ~ I cannot get enough from this spill proof cup. It’s a must for every mother, with the simple sound of a click you know the lids on tight. Baby’s can be introduced to a sippy cup around 6 months. Great to have one on hand, because the first 6 months go by quick.
- munchkin Multi Forks & Spoons 6pk
- munchkin Multi Plates 5pk
- munchkin Multi Bowls 5pk
- Arm & Hammer Nursery Fresheners 5pk ~ nothing can ruin a moment more, then when holding you baby close and noticing a lingering smell. Arm & Hammer Disposable Changing Pads 10pk ~ throw them in your diaper bag, and toss them when you’re done.
- Arm & Hammer Diaper Bag Dispenser & Bags ~ these are great for mothers who are on the road a lot. I never like to leave a stinky diaper in someone else’s garbage.
- munchkin Warm Glow Wipe Warmer ~ these are so comforting for the baby during diaper changing.
- Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail Refill Bags 10pk ~ I find that 1 bag last me up to 1 week, this will carry the new mother through the first 2 months, giving her time to enjoy some cuddle time.
- Also may include: Diapers/ baby wipes/ diaper creams, in your baby shower gift basket.
What do you think about those themed baby gift basket ideas?
Here are a few more of my favorite munchkin items that won’t fit in a basket
- munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail ~ as mentioned in a previous post; I have tried the competitors diaper pail, which I got at my first baby shower over 6 years ago. The competitors diaper pail doesn’t stand up to the Arm & Hammer™ Diaper Pail. The features speak for themselves; a product that allows me to carry my baby on my hip and drop a diaper in my diaper pail with one hand has my approval. It’s so easy to use the kids can do it, watch this You-Tube to see for yourself ~ Click Here! Plus it keeps daddy happy on garbage day; it really seals in the odour. It’s also been slapped with a PTPA Seal, meaning it’s been Parent Tested, Parent Approved.
- munchkin High Capacity Drying Rack ~ you need somewhere for all those little pieces, this is the perfect solution.
- munchkin Steam Guard Electric Sterilizer or Steam Guard Microwave Sterilizer ~ keeping baby free of germs is so important; these are a few great options.
- munchkin Precision Bottle Warmer or Travel Bottle Warmer ~ on the road or at home, keeping baby’s formula at the perfect temperature is extremely important.
- munchkin Nursery Projector & Sound System ~ I cannot stress enough about how amazing this is. I gave one of these away in a previous munchkin post and my winner already emailed me with excitement. Miss C who is 6 has claimed this one to be hers. She lies in bed each night watching the projection on her ceiling and listening to the soothing sounds as she drifts away. This item will grow with baby through to their childhood years.
- munchkin Wood & Steel Designer Gate ~ this is one stylish gate which will match any modern décor. We love our munchkin gate it’s easy to use for adults well keeping a crawling or walking baby safe. I also have a busy toddler it keeps out of trouble.
- munchkin Travel Booster Seat ~ now this little seat has been a huge help in the last few months. We have used it at Gramma’s, on a picnic, in the grand stands. It’s so portable, and easy to have stored in the truck, that you always have a baby seat on hand. I never like when my stroller gets used as a high chair when we are out, it gets all sticky and yucky, having the munchkin Travel Booster Seat on board all the time has been a huge help.
It’s the little things.®
Hope I gave you some gift ideas for your next baby shower? That completes my munchkin Canada brand ambassador journey, it’s been a lot of fun, and I have really enjoyed sharing the journey with you my readers. I am a little sad our journey has come to an end but my munchkin loves will still continue. My baby sister is expecting her first baby this spring I cannot wait to spoil her with some munchkin favorites.
