ONE Year Blogaversary & more accomplishments then I DREAMED of!

This past August 9th marked the first day I hit publish on blogger.

When I started this journey 1 year ago, I had no clue the path it would take. I seen a few blogs and entered a few contests and was so inspired give it a try.I was always told I was a great writer from poems I had written or the Christmas cards I would send, but in all honestly English was never a subject I excelled in.
Since my time as a SAHM I found a love of product testing, and paired with my joys and success of writing I felt as if this was a journey and path I had to embark on.
The first few months of blogging Google was my best friend, I Goggled everything from “How to blog” and any blog related question I could think of. There are no rules or classes to take, blogging is a world you have to feel and learn for yourself.
I remember seeing a brand or button on a blog and saying to myself I am going to get that opportunity or have that button on In R Dream one day! At the time they may have seemed impossible or only a dream, but ONE year later I have almost accomplished all my wishes and most of the goals I set have been crossed off the list.
“EVERYTHING in your life you have attracted”
~ The Secret~
I have worked with brands and companies that I set out to build a relationship with such as FORD Canada. We got a loaner FLEX for
the week and built some amazing memories, the kids still talk about today. We were personally invited to the Toronto ZOO with some fellow bloggers, what an experience going behind the scenes was. We seen DreamWorks How to Train a Dragons Live
Spectacular it was an experience we will never forget. Worked with V-Tech Canada last Christmas and fell in love with their InnoTab.
Plus all the mompreneur’s I have built more than a business relationship with, I have made life time connections with some amazing people. Which brought me to my latest project that runs every Friday Entrepreneur Q & A.
In January I was invited into the Canucks Blogging Network, and it’s been heaven for me. These Canadian bloggers have answered my questions and gave me huge insight into the blogging world. I am very thankful for the CBN group who have helped me along the way.
I cannot forget the companies I had set out to work along with. PTPA was the first one only months into my blogging days they took me on an a PTPABlogaholic last fall. I can still remember the excitement I felt when I got accepted, I was so proud and still am to be a PTPA Blogaholic. PTPA has changed my blogging into much more, I am forever grateful for PTPA and I know the opportunities I have had with them has helped me to where I am today!
I have enjoyed some amazing campaigns through Mom Central such as Kinder Canada Ambassadors, which by far has been the kids favorite. I was more than honored to receive Mom Central Canada Winter 2011 Bloggers Grant, where I wrote a post to inspire mothers. What an amazing accomplishment and honored I felt when I received this gift.
I have written a few guest posts I am proud of such on Indigo Chapters and Barbie I can Be! As well recently I was asked by Yummy Mummy Club to work with them along with 20 Canadian writers on a Dove Campaign. This last year has been nothing more then amazing for me as a writer. Yes, I am finally calling myself one!
I look forward to the dreams and goals we have set for In R Dream. I say we because without my family and the support of my amazing husband I wouldn’t be on this amazing journey. I look forward to the places we will travel the people we will meet along the way. The brands and companies we will build relationships with. The Entrepreneurs we will feature and continue to support. The words I will continue to write and the amazing readers such as you who will continue to read and follow!
Thank you for the support you have shown me this last year and I look forward to the journey and the open doors the next year will bring!
Thanks for reading In R Dream!
