R Canadian Road trip with a FORD FLEX { @FordCanada #Video #Review }

When I first started blogging I had my eyes set on a few brands & companies I wanted to work with. I have been very fortunate that I have been quickly crossing some of them off the list, FORD being one of them. We drive a FORD Lincoln, we have a son named “Lincoln” we strive on quality, which to me means we are the perfect family to test drive & work with FORD Canada!
I have shared it more than once we (In R Dream family) love anything with wheels from monster trucks to sport cars & everything in between. We even include a future race car driver who has his eye on his future career on the race track.
As a family of 6 we are limited when it comes to choosing what to drive, needing the obvious 6 seats or more, plus towing is another must on our list. After narrowing down the search FORD Canada offered us a FLEX! I was doing a bit of a happy dance because it’s one nice looking ride.
We booked a camp site, jam-packed the trailer & picked up our loaner for a little Canadian Road trip! Minutes in we all were in love, the FLEX was a perfect fit for our family.
We did some playing well driving with some of the amazing features such as the GAP (check out our VIDEO review ~ Click Here!)
The blind spot light had me so excited! This feature really is great for highway driving. Check out the pictures below.
The push start was a FUN option, we did run into a bit of key mishap but in the end it all worked out! TIP: make-sure you know the code to get into the car on the key pad (smile).
The ECO Boost is another wonderful feature! I kept bragging about how quick our week was, I really meant to say “Quick” as in accelerating, speed, power, WOW is an understatement. I have been in some fast vehicle before, even a muscle car a time or 2 before. We drive a SUV with a bit of power under the hood, we have also owned a pick-up before kids which housed some speed. The FLEX has nothing on those, I mean it’s FAST! We also took a video of that because it really left us speechless, along with everyone we put in the passenger’s seat!
We were asked how is the FLEX on gas? My answer to everyone who asked, hummm I cannot give you an honest answer because we drove it, we didn’t conserve it!

We took a real Canadian Road trip! The FLEX felt like apart of the family that week, see all the FUN we had with the FORD FLEX?

It’s been over a month now & the kids are still talking about their time with the FLEX. It’s really was an amazing experience for the whole family. If we were to trade in our loved FORD Lincoln a FLEX would be my first choice. It had room for 7, lots of speed, didn’t even notice we were pulling a trailer when we were driving & lots of fun features to fall in love with! I hope one day we meet again!

What do you look for in your perfect ride?

  • It looks so roomy. Ford probably couldn’t have paid you to lock your keys in the car. Great review and pictures. Glad to see that you got some time away.

  • I got to attend a Ford event earlier this year and loved test driving the electric cars. I can’t wait to work with them again as they really seem to get it as far as social media goes.

  • Ohhhh this is such a great post. My parents love the idea of the Ford Flex and I think it sounds like a great option!! Love the features and will definitely let my mom know about this post 🙂

  • lol what a great review! with three kids of our own we are always on the look out for vehicles that can hold all of our stuff! so funny about the key rescue! something has to go wrong on a family trip right?

  • I’ve had the opportunity of riding in a Ford FLEX and I think that if I were to get a new vehicle, the FLEX would be high on my list. My cousin and his wife got their Ford FLEX a few years ago and are in love with it. I was amazed at how roomy it was and love the way it looks.

    Thanks for posting this! The blind spot feature is amazing!

  • Oh well that answers my questions. I was like how can a flex be big enough for your whole family? You answered that. Thanks.
