Ontarians must attend LEX #Lindsay Exhibition @_KawarthaLakes_ BIG & Small something for everyone!

When
I think fall I think, apple picking, beautiful leafs, hiking, and northern
Ontario road trips and fall fairs.

For the last few years we have made it tradition
to attend Lindsay Exhibition (LEX), this year marks LEX 158th year.
This year LEX will be focusing on children’s characters through a partnership
with Kidmo Children’s Events. The theme is “Let Kids Be Kids. Don’t Be A Bully”
With a theme like that you can expect a whole lot of FUN & Playing will be
taking place. The best part about a children’s focused event, besides the
chance to meet their favourite characters is all children 12 & under are
FREE
to admit! Leaving extra cash for cotton candy, which also means extra
kisses & hugs from your little ones.

Don’t
worry LEX has not left the parents out! Along with the popular events expected
& enjoyed at a Fall Fair such as the car derby, Truck Pull, and the ever so
popular Bull Riding Rodeo. LEX has pulled some strings & will be hosting
the RCMP Musical Ride which will perform 5 amazing shows during the 5 day
event.

You maybe familiar with the popular “DOME” formation which was once
featured on the back of the Canadian fifty-dollar bill?

The RCMP
Musical Ride is performed
by a full troop
of 32 riders and their horses. The Musical Ride consists of a variety of
intricate figures and drills choreographed to music. Many of these police officers are non-riders prior to their training
with the RCMP. There is a 3 year rotation for
RCMP Musical Ride to ensure an annual rotation takes place.

Having the RCMP
Musical Ride is an honour for LEX, and I can only imagine the jaw dropping
performance that will take place.
