I’m going to be open in this post, during the last two years I’ve gained more than 40 lbs. Fighting anxiety and an underactive thyroid my body has jumped from a size 4 – 10. That’s tough to mentally deal with when you worked so hard to get down to size 4 initially. So my daughter has officially raid my closet, and happily, she fits into many of my old clothes. But with this new body shape, I’ve come to accept and love the fit I’m wearing in this chapter in my life. Nothing fits as well as confidence and I’m on a hunt to find Summer pieces that complimented my soul-searching and the inner love I’m building. Yep, I’m a country girl, but the jean jacket trend reaches father then the tractor riding, horse loving (I wish I had a horse) women out there. I love nature. That’s why I pride myself on being a country girl. One moment I’ll be elbows deep in weeds in my garden, and next moment I’ll be found riding the tractor cutting our acreage. I’m not your typical “fashion blogger,” but I am Really Me and proud to be just that.

In Grey County, we enjoyed downhill mountain biking at Blue Mountain as well as Ganban volcanic rock therapy at Iwa Spa.
