Smugglers’ Notch Family Fest Getaway
This winter, we fell in love with nature over and over again, during our ski trip from Canada to Smugglers’ Notch in Vermont. We stayed at Smuggs Kestrels 3-Bedroom Condo, which had more than enough room for our big family. Covered in a winter blanket of snow the stunning curves and heights had us planning another trip back to Smuggs this summer. Keep reading for another Smugglers’ Notch Family Fest Getaway Contest. But first why I think Vermont should be a Canadian province.
Vermont May As Well Be A Canadian Province
If you’re considering a trip south of the border, Smugglers’ Notch is a safe, friendly space for all-season fun. They love Canadian’s and open their arms to us. (The Canadian flag even stands proudly at the main entrance).
Our Smugglers’ Notch Family
Vermont is about as Canadian as any U.S. state can get. With like-minded values led by a Senator Bernie Sanders who is the voice of reason amidst the current political turmoil. I’m thinking we should adopt Vermont as a Canadian Province?
Honestly, I feel at home at Smuggs. Vermontah (or Vermonters?) are as polite, friendly and just as apologetic as us Canadians are. Although they don’t say, eh and have an accent when they say “about” they are kind and humble much like us. We met so many genuine, friendly people on and off the resort where we opened into great conversation and connections that instantly warmed our hearts.
Yes, Vermont is known for maple syrup, craft breweries, the mountains and delicious Bourbon (which we will be stocking up on again.)
Smugglers’ Notch offers Canadian-at-par packages
I know what you’re thinking the Canadian dollar is so low right now, the exchange rate isn’t worth it. Guess what? Smugglers’ Notch offers Canadian-at-par packages; please call the reservation line directly for details.
And at Smuggs you can find simple foods or indulge in a mouth-watering plate of goodness. Just like we did at Hearth & Candle at Smuggs.
Now that I have you daydreaming about Vermont, it’s time for the contest.
