Joan answer: SJ WORKS, distributes first aid kits globally. Currently, we have home care first aid kit, auto first aid kit, military/trauma first aid kit, and proudly we created bicycle first aid kit which all improve people’s quality of life.
SJ WORKS innovate bicycle first aid kit help cyclist and family with children get the outdoor first aid care close at hand in case of an emergency.
How did you come up with the concept of your business?
Joan answer: The memory cross my mind that cozy afternoon, a mom and her little girl biking pass my home looking for first aid help. The girl had scratches on her elbow. Quickly, I used an antiseptic towelette to clear the scratches and applied a bandage and plaster. When they left with their bike and happiness, I felt great.
Days later, I had the idea to create bicycle first aid kit for safe biking. Something that people had never seen – a first aid kit on a bicycle. We believe we can help people in first aid situations; we believe we can make a difference in the first aid industry.
The core of SJ WORKS is continuous growth and continuous discovery for a better life. At SJ WORKS, we firmly believe in helping people in all first aid situations. We are always concern about your safety, which is why we want first aid kits to be readily available in your daily life.
If there was one piece of advice you could give about running a successful business, what would it be?
Joan answer: Accept the reality fast and find the way to make your commitment work consistently. There is no overnight success but hustle for macro success.
Do you have a favorite business tool and/or resource that help make your day easier?
Joan Answer: Get around people who inspired each other and keep myself learning new things every day. I watch Gary Vee videos every morning when I brush my teeth. I use this tool keep my momentum for a better life and continues to create more things for society.
Do you have a motivational quote, you would love to share?
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” – Pele
Looking back to your high school days, what advice would you give yourself, knowing what you know now?
Joan answer: Enjoy every moment of our life today and be the best version of myself every day.
What in life brings you happiness?
Joan answer: The ability to enjoy every moment of our lives and spend time with me, not anyone else. Not to expect from other people, because happiness is inside: I am the only person that can make myself happy.
