Who Needs Your Donation At Christmas? Our 3rd Kindness Mountain
Instead of creating an elaborate holiday gift guide the last three Christmas’ I have focused my time and energy on the giving side of the holidays. Joining forces with brands and my favorite PR firms along with shopping with my children to create our very own Kindness Mountain to help those in need in our community.
Who Needs Your Donation At Christmas?
With the holiday’s here there is a need in every community for new toys and gift items for families in need. These families may have stumbled on tough times due to illness, job cuts or whatever bump in the road life has thrown at them.
Asking for help is tough. It chokes your pride and can wear down your self-esteem.
They maybe your neighbors, or even your friends. They don’t wear labels, and they aren’t announcing on their Facebook the status of the hard times they are facing. Behind closed doors, they are looking for help at the local food bank or Community Care Center. Trying to make ends meet to support their family.
Especially this time of year, your donations, your volunteer hours are exactly what your community needs.
No one wants to be taking “handouts” because at this moment in time they are walking down a bumpy road. But when we are ‘stuck in a sticky situation’ the need to feel Hope and have Faith is what reminds us to keep our chins up high.
That is why this campaign – our Kindness Mountain each year touches my heart. Knowing that our dream to spread Hope is reaching the faces of little Children on Christmas morning.
Our 2016 Kindness Mountain
Thank you, goes out to the following brands and PR agencies that went above and beyond this time of year and seeing the need to spread Hope.
Merci Beaucoup, Leah, from Maplelea for the beautiful Léonie Maplelea Doll and Maplelea Backpack. Merci, Kimia from Swerve PR for your donation of Squinkies ‘Do Drops, The Irish Fairy Door Company and the ideal gift for Moms and Dads Tile. Gracias, Nicole from Paradigm PR for thinking of Moms this Christmas with your donation of Shick products. Grazie, Victoria from Swerve PR for your gifts of Tonka Tinys, Sing-A-Ma-Lings, and Playmobil.
“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” ~ Scott Adams
Because of all the toys, food and monetary donations your communities receive, on Christmas morning a child will wake up and believe in the magic of the season. Their parents will rest their head with HOPE on Christmas Eve.

How are you spreading Hope this Christmas?
Thank you for reading In R Dream!
I love this post and the mountain of presents is huge. Love the fact that the companies are giving back to make children happy at Christmas. 🙂
Love to see this happening, giving back always feels great! We love doing up “care packages” at Christmas and giving them to families/seniors in need at Christmas. We did one up for a senior in the building where we live this year that we knew was struggling to get by…..it was a blessing to see her reaction.
We love doing bunny donations at Easter for families going through hard times such as illness or job lost, always brings a smile to a child’s face
Love to see companies giving back and i enjoy it giving back also.
