First Stop Hyatt Place Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel
Daytona Beach is our starting point of every Florida vacation. Not only because it is the first place our children ever danced in the Atlantic Ocean but because it is called America’s Original Beach. DYK? Dayton has 23 miles of white sand beach?
Hyatt Place Daytona Beach Oceanfront
Daytona Beach has over 200 properties to choose from, and the Hyatt Place knocks many of our must-haves off our list.
Including spacious ocean view rooms looking over the Atlantic Ocean that can comfortably sleep 5-6 people between the two Hyatt Grand Beds and by using the Cozy Corner with includes a sofa bed. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and breathtaking sunrise is a blessing.
Another must-have we look for when traveling is complimentary breakfast. Hyatt Place includes the a.m. Kitchen Skillet breakfast that is served daily, featuring hot breakfast items, fresh fruit, and more. The chef happily worked with my dietary needs making me an egg/ dairy-free breakfast sandwich.
The staff was helpful along the way to answer any question we had. They even shared some of the local hot spots to eat in Daytona.
Hyatt Place also has a beautiful pool and hot tub to enjoy after a long day of strolling or driving Americas oldest beach.
Here is a video review of our oceanfront room at Hyatt Place Daytona Beach.
When you’re not driving the beach, swimming or eating your way around Daytona Beach. I highly suggest you dig your feet in the sand and explore the ocean with the kids.
You’ll never run out of things to do on your next family vacation in Daytona Beach, between land and water you will be able to keep the kids busy. Our children were the happiness just dancing in the water and exploring the nature around them. Although the water level at the shore is very flat, the tide can be active for younger kids. I do suggest you stay close to your children and wear proper life devices depending on their swimming levels.
Happy Travels!

Wow this place looks beautiful. I especially love the sounds of renting a beach cabana! I look for similar things that you have mentioned…family-friendly activities, good food, great weather and a nice resort.
This was the first time we rented a beach cabana and it was so nice to have a covered place to rest at on the beach. Thanks for swinging by Kelly!
When I travel with the kids I look for what the hotel has to offer indoors (indoor pool, arcade…) just in case of bad weather. P.S that view is amazing!
Loved the video, what an amazing view, you really can’t be any closer to the ocean
I think that wad close to where I stayed last year. It looks great. I like that beach a lot. I am in Florida this week on a fam trip to Vero Beach and Jensen Beach and other areas. I enjoy Florida – it never disappoints. The pools at the Hyatt look great.
