Sphero Darkside Ollie Video Review
This past weekend we went camping and this time around we thought it would be a little fun to bring a robot along for the party. He is 4.7 inches tall and weighs in at 8.5 ounces. He is quick for his size and does top speeds of 14 mph (6m/s). The best part is he connects instantly to your device via Bluetooth SMART with a range of up to 100 feet. He is easy to drive and with his Nubby Tires off road train is not a problem for him. If off-roading is not your thing he sure can take corner like a drifting King with his Turbo Tires. Since kids of any age can control him he is a great tag along for your next camping adventure.

This isn’t the first time we’ve reviewed Ollie, we’ve also brought Ollie to hotels with us and he frees up time for mommy and daddy well we unpack. This time we knew Darkside Ollie would be best suit to be the one to take camping with us. His Devious. Defiant. Diabolical. Dangerous. We knew Darkside Ollie would command the dark and put on a light show for the kids well the adults enjoyed the fire.

“What I like most about Ollie is he can be controlled by the kids, even our 4 year old can drive and have Ollie perform tricks. The kids don’t play with Ollie on a daily bases but they do enjoy when I have him charged and ready to experience on a road trip. I look forward to bringing out Darkside Ollie lot’s more throughout the summer to put on another light show. There is so much more to experience with him and we have plenty of time this Summer to learn.”

This looks like it would be a lot of fun! I will have to think about getting one for Christmas this year.
I love both this Darkside Ollie and the normal Ollie too. I think they are marvellous and tons of fun for both children and adults.
My kids would love that . I’ve heard good things about Sphero. But this one looks like the most fun of all . I can just see my daughter playing with that in the backyard or even in the front yard with all the neighbor kids . The little boy next-door would go insane . Lol what a fun toy!!
