Friends Forever Playroom Wood Print #12PrintsProject
Over the course of the next 12 months follow hashtag #12PrintsProject for social shares from seven Canadian parenting, design, and lifestyle bloggers – one being moi! Each of us will be posting 12 photographs that speak to our heart and tell a story behind the print. Which will be printed by Canada’s Photo Art Experts, Posterjack! This is my first #12PrintProject from my twelve part series.
Building A Bond
It’s always been my husband’s and mine goal as parent to build a tight knit bond between our children. I am not sure where this strive came from it all happened so naturally. Just the other day the bus driver called me over to the bus. She was so happy to share that she doesn’t see siblings like ours very often, their love is so strong, and watching all of them run off the bus into my arms each day shows how happy they are. I walked away from that bus with tears built up in my eyes. I told her that was my goal and I am so happy that onlookers can see the love between them. This is not the first time I received such a heartwarming comment about the love between our children, each time it is a fresh reminder that we are leading in the right direction as parents we dreamed to be.
It’s Natural
I can assure you each day doesn’t smell like roses we do work hard on disciplining sibling rivalry often. This is something I don’t believe any parenting strategy can completely avoid. Siblings fight for attention from parents and from each other, especially when dealing with a bigger family such as ours. Sibling rivalry is a natural part of growing up. Although this tells me at the heart of it all, their love is deep and that makes mommy smile.
Takes More Than One
This month after we were done skating on our backyard rink we huddled around the fire and enjoyed some hot chocolate and treats. It’s not often I can get all four kids looking in the right direction when trying to get a group shot. I will be honest this is one of maybe twenty snaps that I caught in the moment. I was happy when I loaded them on my computer there was one that was a keeper. Hubby is never a huge fan of the posed looking pictures, I have to agree with him I like capturing them in the moment. Although this print just spoke to my motherly heart. All four of my children, arm and arm after a long skate. This was a picture I knew needed to display.
We decided that it would fit best in the kid’s playroom. A great memory for them to glance at and also a great reminder of the friends they will have forever on their side.
Posterjack’s Wood Prints
Since I will be printing out 12 prints this year with Posterjack I challenged myself to give each type of Posterjack’s unique prints a try. This is walking out of my comfort zone a bit but I think will help me be a true ambassador for the brand I will be speaking about all year. The print above is a Posterjack specialty print – wood prints. It is loaded with character and are extremely unique. They do come with a yellow grain look that adds a vintage feel to your print. I was overly surprised just how beautiful the finish was in person.
We are thrilled with the beauty in this wood print and our personal story being told. It is a memory that we have captured that will last a lifetime, now that we can look at it daily.

WOW Elizabeth, thanks for sharing! I hope to be saying those same things 30 years from now as well!
these are great shots and lifetime of memories. I have never used posterjack but it may be worth giving a try!
Yes Tammy I highly recommend you give them a try! You’re very right a lifetime of memories!
I’ve reviewed a few other companies that print photos and Posterjack is still always the best. Love Posterjack! I’d like to get some more done up of the twins with their awesome big brother.
I am so happy with the quality too Erica! Please do share when you get them done, your family is the sweetest!
I was really surprised to see the quality looked so clear! The wood print sounds like a fun gift that’s a little unconventional, but something everyone would like!
It would be a fabulous gift Randa, great idea!
Love that photo, definitely print worthy! We’ve used posterjack for acrylic, metal, frames, canvas…..but not wood! We’ll have to try that next!
Oh yes Jennifer it was going out of my comfort zone a bit but I am so happy with the vintage look!
What an amazing shot that will be treasured for a long time, I’m certain! I am a huge Posterjack fan myself and I bet the #12PrintProject is going to be amazing! I’ll be watching to see how it goes!
