Everything is Grand At The Grand Hotel and Suites Toronto Review

The Grand Hotel Toronto ReviewEvery year hubby and I like to book an overnight babysitter which is always the grandparents and take off for the night. I wish it could happen a little more often because when we get back, seeing the kids run to us with open arms does feel great.

Recently we took advantage of a media event in Toronto ( 5o Years and Still Eye Candy) and thought the best way to end and evening of networking would be with a stay at one of our favorite Toronto Hotels – The Grand Hotel & Suites Toronto

Grand – impressive in size, appearance, or general effect.

The Grand Effect

The first time I was at The Grand Hotel & Suites Toronto was a few years back when hubby booked a romantic night away for the two of us. My first impression when I walked in was how ‘grand” everything looked as soon as we walked up to it.

I felt like royalty as we walked up the ‘grand’  stair case and the beautiful ‘grand’ glass doors that were pushed open with a smile by the hotel doorman.

Grand Floral

Be on the ‘grand’ stair case and the ‘grand’ double glass doors into the ‘grand’ lobby are ‘grand’ floral bouquets that are breath-taking. These ‘grand’ floral bouquets are art in a glass. They simply draw you in and back to your childhood days of seeing the simplicity and beauty within a flower. At the same time there is nothing simple about these ‘grand’ bouquets.

Grand Room

Even after walking through the ‘grand’ hallway and opening the ‘grand’ door we didn’t expect more than our typical tight hotel room and maybe a mini kitchen squished in the corner.

There was nothing typical about our room at The Grand Hotel & Suites Toronto and defiantly nothing squished. It felt like I walked into a Toronto Condo, two levels and enough room to host a party. It was huge, actually ‘grand’!

There was a very quick moment when we walked in that I wished we brought the kids because there was enough space that our family of six would fit comfortably.

The ‘Grand’ City View

The feature that stands out clear in my mind when I think of The Grand Hotel & Suites Toronto is the stunning city view from the ‘grand’ rooftop patio. This is no typical rooftop patio it is home to two ‘grand’ hot tubs and a ‘grand’ projector screen. This is a favorite spot among all The Grand Hotel & Suites Toronto guest especially during the night, Toronto city lights are breath-taking!
