Celebrate Spring Time with Quick Bruschetta plus a creamy Kraft twist #MemorableMelts

It has been a long winter of comfort foods for dinner in our house. You know the rich and creamy kind of comfort foods that speaks to your soul. After 6 long months of bitter cold, I have been craving spring time and fresh veggies. I cannot wait to start gardening and get the seeds of my fruit-growing to feed our big family.

In the meantime the grocery store produce will have to do. So when I seen these plump perfectly ripe tomatoes and these sweet-smelling Basil leafs I knew exactly the dish that would bring on spring time for just one night.

Garden Fresh Tomatoes

Quick Fresh Bruschetta

Quick Fresh BruschettaDuring the summer months we seem to have an over abundance of tomatoes, both ripe and green. Over the years I have learned quick ways to use our crops to their fullest. Bruschetta is always my go to quick staple that leaves both my kids and company asking for more.

  • 4 ripe Tomatoes Yellow or Red (whichever speaks to you) chopped in bite sized pieces
  • Half Red Onion minced
  • Handful of Sweet Basil rough cut
  • Drizzle of Olive Oil
  • Splash of White Balsamic Vinegar (or dark)
  • Pinch and touch of Salt and Pepper

Feel free to add garlic, rosemary, oregano or a sweet red pepper to switch it up.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. This can be made ahead and refrigerated.

Here is the creamy Twist.

The melt is all you’ll remember.

I like to keep my fridge stocked up with lots of Kraft Shredded cheese; it has been my go-to for many years. Topping Nacho’s, making a quick grilled cheese, burgers the possibilities with Kraft Shredded cheese is endless.

When I heard Kraft Shredded Cheese now comes with a touch of Philadelphia I was interested in seeing just how it melted. Could Kraft’s new specially blend with a Touch of Philadelphia deliver a soft and creamy melt that will make my favorite meals even better?

Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia

Already having my plump ripe tomatoes in my cart I knew Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia would bring a touch of spring to dinner filled with a creamy bit of comfort.

What the heck I tossed in my cart a Kraft Creamy Mexicana Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia for Nacho night and Kraft Shredded Mozza Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia to top a quick pizza, which will both add a touch of ease to my meal time the next few weeks.

Bruschetta mix topped with Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia. My Memorable Melts

During the process of making my Bruschetta I noticed I was fresh out of garlic. For this garlic loving family Bruschetta without garlic seemed to be impossible. This recipe was really going to put Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia to the test.

Will Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia give me the garlic kick I needed to make my Bruschetta appetizer my memorable melt?

I carried on and sliced my baguette on a diagonal because it is just as important to eat with your eyes. Lined a baking dish with my slices and lightly spray them with Olive Oil.

This is the part where I always get called away from the kitchen, or get lost in my Songza playlist and burn the garlic bread. Take my advice and set a timer. Toast your baguette as you normally would, you know your oven best.

Once your baguette slices are perfectly crisp this is where I would rub the pieces with a fresh piece of garlic. Seeing as I ran out, I topped the toast with my easy and fresh Bruschetta mix and topped it with Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia.

Throw your baking dish back in the oven to add a creamy memorable melt to your Bruschetta. Don’t over melt or burn the top. I found the prefect creamy memorable melt to be still soft and creamy white. Not bubbly and brown.

Melt I won’t forget.

The first bite was just what I expected once I’d seen the soft creamy white cheese topped on my Bruschetta. It was a moment of food heaven. I was dazzled by the creaminess in every bite; it was a melt I won’t forget. There was no missing my fresh garlic in sight because Kraft Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia in Creamy Herb & Garlic has the prefect touch of garlic and herbs to suit my dancing taste buds needs. Paired with soft creaminess it was a match made in food heaven. After seconds and thirds the whole family was fighting for the final piece. It was a sure hit and family favorite.
