The Science and Art of HP Ink #OriginalYou
What is in your ink?
Something I never thought of before. Once I hit print, that was about the thought process I had regarding the ink in my printer. Yes I remember a dozen times or so before noticing the inconsistency in my printing and even the lost of color. These were all issues I never thought I had the choice on how my printing results would turn out. All this time is was my choice, the bad choice in printer and ink I had been choosing along the way.
Yes I can relate to you, if your like me and were choosing the lower end priced ink down the aisle. Something I learned recently is, those lower end inks are diluted with water and not scientifically created to be top performers. Hey we all need to have an A team in our corner and cutting corners seems to minimize the lasting effect my printer is making.
You learn something everyday!
Last month I had the privilege to meet one of HP’s inkologist – Thom Brown. Thom share his knowledge and captured all of his audience through Science.
After Thom’s presentation, I walked away from it looking at ink a whole lot different. Life is filled with those moments you learn something new. This presentation gave me the opportunity to step back for a moment and realize the world around me is filled with amazing things. Even ink is amazing! When I was in high school I never would have thought Science was of interest to me. However, now that I know more than I did then. I can say with confidence that Science is mind-boggling and something I take for granted daily. Plus I am now open to learning a little more science and getting my geek on a little more during my journey.

Pretty cool, eh?
Stay tuned for more on HP ink and printers with my upcoming review. Plus some photography tips I learned during the HP Original You event.

Inkologist? I have never heard of that before! We do not have a HP printer so we have different ink which never seems to be on sale and is pricey! I definitely would consider HP next time!

We have 2 HP printers, and they work well!
We love HP!!! Great brand and great ink!
I’ve found HP to be a great brand. I prefer it over the store brand inks!
