One Learning Device Plus Four Children With VTech #InnoTab 3
It is so hard to say Back to School is in full gear, but it is true. With only day’s away we have completed our back to school shopping, from books to clothes and new indoor shoes. We are talking routine, gearing up for early wake up’s and exploring new lunch options. (sigh)
However when gearing up for back to school I never thought of our preschool child and equipping him with a new learning toy or gadget. When I was re-introduced to the VTech InnoTab 3 I knew who was going to be my top reviewer on this one.
Having tried and loved the original VTech InnoTab many moons ago, I didn’t see much room for improvement. However I was surprised it was much smaller in size, but doesn’t affect the vision. VTech InnoTab 3 fit’s in little hands far better now. The kids love the 360 degree camera and fun designs they can add to their pictures, which gives off lot’s of giggles. Much like the original VTech InnoTab you can link up to Learning Lodge where we can add apps and track learning.
King (3) has really taken to the VTech InnoTab 3 and its Magic Bean Stalk game, which grows each day. He cannot wait to log on and check its growth and the new surprises he will see on it. I find it really adorable to watch him so excited with anticipation to check his growing Bean Stalk. After a quick check, he loves to snuggle up and read a book or two. King is our busy boy and focus has been hard for him since he could walk (run). VTech InnoTab 3 has his attention and keeps him focus on learning, which is something I have struggled with him. Giving him a new way to learn is so important for a busy preschooler. One thing I have learned being a parent of many is they all learn and grow differently. Once you find what works for them, grab on and enjoy the ride.

e-reader for my son,to help him read better.
Hands on learning!
My son has to be left alone to figure things out after being shown once.
By example and then hands on.
My son is a visual learner, if you show him how to do something he picks it up instantly, if you tell him he will struggle, the ipad, and books to trace his letters & numbers have really been a huge help!
Love the size and that tried and tested educational apps come with it.
watching then trying herself
My daughter learns best by actually doing
Miss R learns best by doing. If she can experience and practice something the results are always better then if she is just told/shown what to do.
I would like to think that I teach my son best…but I was recently proven otherwise lol….we were busy building a block house with his blocks and he told me that he wanted to have “moat” around it…me being clueless I’m embarrassed to say…asked him what that was and he replied “mommy you know the water ditch around the castle” ..I had to google the word and low and behold he was right, I asked him where he learned that and he said from “Mike the Kinght” So sometimes TV shows do help our young ones learn…including this Mama!!
Letting the child help read simple books and reading more involved books to them
This looks amazing! Both my kids learn best through hands on experiences.
Reading is a good way to learn, that’s what we do by leading by example!
With my son we have to keep pounding it into his brain. My daughter on the other hand is an eager learner…not saying girls are better than boys but at this time…it is a struggle for our son who is going into grade 5. Our daughter though is a Hands on and Youtube self learner. Our son has to be shown each and every step.
my children (7) were all different, some were hard workers at school, others drifted along and still did well, and some just weren’t really good at learning and have still done extremely well for themselves. I am certain that having no distractions helps a lot and it sounds to me like the InnoTab® 3 would help practically any child to learn more easily.
We’ve been blessed with two kids that seem to learn well no matter which way they are taught. We’re very proud.
hands on learning is the best, involving all the senses, they absorb the knowledge better that way
My son learns best from hands on learning.

Just as I am, my little one is a hands on learner. I would have loved to have had this kind of technology when I was a child! Kids these days are so fortunate to have all these alternative methods and aids to help them learn and develop.

By practicing over and over!
My son learns best by practicing over and over again! He loves technology too!
I think different children learn in different ways, you just have to discover which method works best for each one and approacch teaching them new things in ways that make sense to them.
my daughter has always been a good listener. she would listen to book after book for hours and learn new words. now my busy little guy seems to have a problem with sitting still long enough to listen to even half a book. but I’ve recently been given an old leap pad and that seems to keep his attention at least for a bit. he really seems to be more hands on.
My daughter learns best by doing things herself. She has always been very independent.
Interactive learning seems to work best. This would be great & fun! I love that it has a camera too.

This looks great! I think my 5 year old would love this- definitely going on the Christmas list!
I love a device where siblings can share it. It saves so much money to have them enjoy just one item.
I love that you can add apps to this, many opportunities to learn!
Endless options for the kids. Each child learns so different and V-tech has captured each child.
