Make Time, Change a Life

Something that is very important this time of year is giving back. There is something in the air that makes winter holiday’s the perfect time to share in ways you may of not thought of through out the year. Even if your budget is big or small, if we all gave what we can. Our world would be a better place for it.

 How Our Family Gives Back

This year will as a family will give back in many ways, one thing we do through out the year is donate our unused belonging to a local charity. Just this weekend the kids purged their unused toys and we boxed them up. They feel great knowing they will be given to children who might not have had toys otherwise.

We also filled 3 shoe boxes with new goodies for over seas children. This was in participation with our local church. Miss C was in charge of this and she was so excited to put her heart and soul into making these boxes an special Christmas surprise for these over sea children.

When we shop at our local grocery store, it feels great to throw an extra couple cans of non-perished food in our shopping cart with each visit. When we are on the way out the door I toss them in the local food drive bin.

We also find talking with our children really helps them understand the world around them. This is true in so many ways, giving us an opportunity to teach, build and grow as a family.

KINDER®’s ‘A Joy To Share’ Program

KINDER® Canada is very proud to support the Children’s Miracle Network, who has been helping to save and improve the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals since 1983. Please “share” the video below with your friends and family and help encourage donations to the Children’s Miracle Network.
