Introducing Iam’s Senior Plus, loving the feisty one in home…

It
happens to us all, and sometimes we over look that the same thing is happening
to our pets too.

Age is never fun, but we all have to embrace the change.
We might have to slow down a bit, change are eating habits, or even get glasses
to read. The same is true to our pets.
With age pets
suffer from:
·     Loss of
mental sharpness
·
Loss of muscle
·
Immune system weakens
·
Decline in activity level
·
Increase in dental concerns
·     Digestive
system becomes less effective

Sounds like we have a lot more in common with R feline friends then we
might have thought?!

Over the years, I haven’t put too much thought into the brand or type of
dog or cat food I have been feeding our senior friends. I have noticed they are
slower, sleep more; you really have to raise your voice to speak with them, and
at times very stubborn. But in all honestly I never looked pass the word
“Mature Adult” on the package.

I have more than “Mature Adults” R beautiful dog
“Weiser” is 10. And our fun loving cat “Solitaire” is 16 (who is a bit camera shy). And both are
showing more feisty signs of aging than ever before.

  • I used to use Iams for my cat Thomas. Now he’s getting too old and needs the soft food, but doesn’t like the Iams which is shame b/c it’s good for him.

  • When I was writing magazine articles, I did a feature on a pet health food store and they said that when owners chance a pet’s food, you can always see the biggest change in senior pets. They need that good nutrition a lot more because their bodies aren’t as resilient. We’re lucky there are so many great choices out there nowadays!

  • I don’t have any pets but, have only heard good stuff about IAMS. I think I may need to get into this when I finally get a doggy.

  • I think pet’s should get a seniors discount! I love that Iams is thinking about taking care of our pets at every stage of life!

  • I was wondering when a pet is considered senior. My cat’s getting up there, is the 11+ for cats too? I’m not sure exactly how old she is but we think around 10

  • Love your dog and we love IAMS here in our house for our pup, Izzie. Taking care of older pets is really important and knowing that IAMS has Senior plus is great to know for in the future.

  • Taking care of your senior pets is so important. Our Dakota is almost 10 now and we want her to live as long as and as healthy as possible.
