Housewife Quick Cleaning Tips #PGmom { CAN 05/24 Giveaway }

I have been a housewife (AKA – Stay At Home Mom) on and off for over 7 years now, a career I choose, a dream I had, a dream I am now living. I know each day is a blessing that I am home with my children, but along with the fun and games comes a whole lotta chores. Someday’s I feel like I am following 3 little tornado’s around the house. Not to mention the 5 + times, I am in the kitchen preparing snacks and meals all day long.

There is very little down time, most days I forget to eat. The fantasies of us housewives watching soaps all day and eating chocolate, are just that fantasies. Although times may of change because I remember seeing Soaps on my mother’s T.V as a child. The one thing that hasn’t changed in my mind is the desire to have a clean and tidy house when my husband walks in the door. This is something I have always tried to do, not because it is required but because I feel it is what I have to give to him. Someday’s are successful and other’s the tornado still shows signs of where they hit. Along the way I have picked up a few little secret’s from housewife to housewife I am willing to share.

Let those little tornado’s run, swirl and play. Let them explore the in’s and outs of the home they share. At the end of the day about an hour before daddy is due to come home, put on your fancy little maid outfit  rubber gloves, give the kids some motivation and have a clean up parade.

Kids and Chores

We start young giving our children independence and ownership of our family. It takes a whole family to run a home. Although this isn’t the sight each and everyday in our home. It is very important in our eyes to teach the children what it takes to support each-other’s roles in our home. The hard work mommy and daddy put in to each-day to make it a success for our family. The surprising secret here is our kids actually get excited to help with chores, they ask to help, they now take ownership and pride in our home and willing go off to led the parade. Even our 21 month old has ownership of his home and has made the Swiffer this best friend.

Another housewife secret I am excited to share is the scent of clean. Have you ever walked into a house or business and smelled cleaners thinking to yourself “WOW they must have just cleaned?” Yes well you don’t have to scrub all day to get the clean scent you are looking for. I was so excited to see my favorite laundry scent has finally been infused in my everyday products. It is so clean smelling, fresh and a little goes a long way. P&G has added a line-up of Gain scented products, which has everyone’s nose pleased, hubby smiling and mama giggling.
