Experiencing Disney Back to Back: Would Donald Still Makes Us Giggle?

Experiencing Disney Back to Back: Would Donald Still Makes Us Giggle?

In May, we took another magical adventure to Walt Disney World. Yes, seven months after our first trip to Disney, we once again were blessed with experiencing Disney. I wasn’t sure if the Disney effect would still be as magical with back to back trips?

Would Mickey Mouse still make our hearts sing?

Would Donald Duck makes us giggle?

Of course, they did, and we loved both Disney characters, even more, the second time around.

Before I felt the Disney effect in my life, I never understood how families could continue to travel to the same location time and time again. I will tell you how Disney only gets better the more you go. Truth!

Anyone who has ever been to Disney knows that Walt Disney World’s four theme parks; two water parks are so big there is always more to see.

Walt Disney World is forever switching things up, and that is how you come to crave returning from your last Disney vacation.

It is official I am a Disney Mom!

This time, we arrived at Disney World with no expectations. We were ready to absorb a different side of Disney being an experienced Disney family and all. We planned on enjoying our favorite rides, trying new rides, experiencing Disney through the attractions we missed the first time, and stopping to listen to the music.

Experiencing Disney is possible because there is always a story being told at Disney World!

During the seven months after our first Disney World Vacation, Disney was hard are work creating magic once again. They are forever telling new stories through the magic that only Disney can create.

Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular

This time in Hollywood Studios we stayed for the new Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular.

These dazzling Star Wars-themed fireworks show dances to memorable Star Wars music throughout the saga. Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular is one of the best firework shows I have ever seen. We aren’t huge Star Wars fans (please be gentle on me) but that didn’t matter. It was bigger than I ever imagined and still, today has me smiling.

Disney does it right; experiencing fireworks at Disney is unbelievable. Complete eye candy for your eyes, leaving you in awe before, during, and after the show.

Tree of Life Awakenings

This summer, Walt Disney World Florida launched the Tree of Life Awakenings, and we got a sneak peek. Words cannot explain the jaw-dropping experience we felt well-watching Tree of Life Awakenings come to light. The story that is told pulls at your heartstrings opens up your imagination which left me in tears.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is one of my families favorite theme parks, and now it is officially open at night! You can experience your favorite daytime classics like Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest at night now. Talk about upping the thrill factor 100%!

The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic

The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic is a new live musical show inspired by the blockbuster live-action film “The Jungle Book.” This new nighttime experiences pairs perfectly well with the late-night time hours’ at Disney’s the Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort.

I haven’t seen this new epic celebration in person, but it is sure to immerse guests entirely in all their senses. This live performance features Indian culture with music, water screens, and vibrant costumes amidst the beauty and danger of the jungle.

What attraction at Disney do you want to experience?

  • There’s so much to see at Disney! It’s so easy to miss things the first time you go. I’d love to go back again!

  • We want to go to Disney World, and see all the attractions. I am wondering, how many days you would reccomend to see it all. I am thinking next halloween or Christmas season we may go.

    • Hi, Debbie! Great question! Since Walt Disney World has 4 theme parks you need at least one day for each. Although you could easily spend 2 days extra at the Magic Kingdom since it is the largest. On top of the theme parks, you want to check out Disney Springs and Disneys 2 water parks if you have time. Both Christmas and Halloween are a great time to experience Disney because they go over the top with decorating! You will have a blast!!!!

  • My husband and I went to Disneyland in December. We are both in our sixties and we were so exhausted. But now we can check it off our bucket list.
