Spring’s Sprung: Basic Chia Pudding Recipe

Spring’s Sprung: Basic Chia Pudding Recipe

The birds are chirping, trees are budding, and Mother Nature is at it again confusing us all. As I type this, outside my office window it is snowing on April 25, 2016. Maybe I jinxed us all by packing away all signs of winter in our home?

Although it is officially spring, we do know that spring weather has to come eventually, right?

Garden planning in under way, we have booked Ontario Parks camping sites, and I am planning summer camps and fun for the kids. Our bikes have been oiled, and the kids have had no shortage of driveway fun these last few weeks.

This spring our daughter also turned 10!

With this new chapter she is on the path to independence, I gave her a task this week, which she was excited and willing to take. It wasn’t too big, but she was grinning from ear to ear about it.

  • There’s no sign of spring here, though I guess +3C is a beginning hopefully the thermometer now keeps going up it’s been bitterly cold long enough for me.

  • This recipe sounds and looks so easy. I can’t wait to try it but I doubt my kids will eat it. I love tapioca pudding and it looks like the same consistency. Thanks!

  • We’re spending as much time as possible outside planting the garden and playing. Allergies are a constant in our house so we try not and focus on them.
