Twilight Turtle Tunes T3 Review + Giveaway

Twilight Turtle Tunes T3 Review + Giveaway

Today’s guest post is from my little sister Brandy. Since our littlest turns 3 this month it was time to bring on someone to take over baby reviews. Brandy is expecting her second baby in August and Jax her oldest is 15 months. I look forward to sharing Brandy’s in depth reviews and mama knowledge here on inRdream.com.

Twilight Turtle Tunes T3

My sister just recently introduced me to the Twilight Turtle Tunes T3 and asked if I would be willing to test it out on my son Jax who is 14 months old. I jumped at the opportunity as my son had broke his CD player in his room and has always slept with a night light. It looked like a pretty neat product and covers both a night light as well as a sound option.

First Impression

When we first received it and opened it up Jax was intrigued right away. It looks like a stuffed animal and is light weight; he grabbed the Twilight Turtle Tunes and began exploring it. We turned it on and he began to push some of the buttons showing excitement about the lights that he could see coming from the Turtles shell. We took it into his room and turned off the lights and were able to see 8 different constellations on both the ceiling and walls.

You have 3 different colour options that are projected on the ceiling; orange, blue and green. One setting allows the colours to change, and plays what sounds like crashing waves. The volume is adjustable which is great!

Another great thing about this product is that it came with batteries that last 6 hours and then you can also plug it into the wall. We took it to some friend’s houses a few times as it’s very portable and we didn’t have to worry about dragging a cord along. We just threw it right in his diaper bag!

Bluetooth and App

The Twilight Turtle Tunes also has a Bluetooth option in which you can pair it with your Smartphone. All I had to do was download the free Sound B app and then click the ‘ON’ button twice to connect my phone. The app has built in mixes which you can choose from to play through the Twilight Turtle Tunes. It also has a timer option which allows you to play music for up to 6 hours. From your phone you are able to pause, cancel, restart the timer or even change the mix without going into your child’s room!! How convenient!

Mama Knows Best

The one thing I would recommend is putting the Twilight Turtle Tunes up high on a dresser as it will give off the best view of the 8 constellations. The closer to the ground it is, the more difficult it is to make out the constellations.

” Jax loves this product and it has become part of our routine to turn on the Twilight Turtle Tunes with him every night before bed. We are expecting our second child and are looking forward to using this product right from the beginning without having to use a CD player and night light combination.

This would make a great baby shower gift and I would recommend it to any parents looking for a night light or sound playing option for sleep time! “
