Growing Dinner { WW }

For the last few weeks our garden has been producing some amazing produce, much earlier then the previous years. I haven’t bought more then dairy, bread & milk at the store.

Typically late afternoon the kids & I go out to pick what will be for dinner. It’s really fun & so awarding to pick & eat within a few hours. I typically grill everything,  tossed with some Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper, fresh picked herbs of course.

Here are the last few picks we had for dinner.

This year we have decided to tackle canning, got any recipes you’d love to share?
I just might feature it if we use it!

Do you garden?

Thank you for reading In R Dream!

  1. Wow you had a successful garden. I had cancer 1 1/2 yrs. agoe. My garden died even my chives which are like a weed. Also a house plant I had for over 35yrs. Weird. Now I am garden shy. I love growing tomatoes but I didn’t even attemp it this year.

    • Thanks, Kim! This year, we didn’t garden and it’s been eating at me. I am sure you will find the nack again. Happy to read you wrote cancer in past tense!

  2. It’s awesome for kids to grow the food that they can eat. Growing food is fun

  3. I am growing tomatoes and a few other vegetables.I don’t have a big garden but just enough to get by.I like growing herbs in pots too.

I do but from the looks of it not on a alarge enough scale. And all I have ever canned is fruit. It is lots of fun!

    Awesome 🙂

I’m in an apartment so, no garden for me. I would love to have one though and grow all kinds of veggies. The kids would love it.

  10. Deborah Coombs says:

Wow. You have mad gardening skills. I am sorely disappointed with mine this year. I just haven’t had the time to tend to everything properly.

  11. Kathryn Lavallee says:

Looks yummy! I miss growing the veggies from the cabbage family; our canola-growing province can’t grown any cabbage vegetable without special equipment or tons of pesticides thanks to the canola flies that devour everything even vaguely related to cabbage. 🙁 Ah well, there’s still zucchini, pumpkin, peas, beans and carrots to enjoy!

  12. Sober Julie says:

wow now I wish I gardened!!!
